Day 28: The First Chilly Morning

I have my window open!

Summer took a break.  I have no doubt it will return to close the windows, but for today it’s gone.

This time of year in the mountains of Colorado I would be looking for the first snow.  Probably only a good dusting–dry and light–would appear.  On the ground in the direct morning sun it would melt into chilly dew, but it would remain in the shadows till noon.

Here in Oklahoma I’m going to plumb my flannel resources for whats remains.  I am sure I won’t be able to wear anything I have all day.  At least I can start with a nice reminder of my old home.
