Thanks! Nothing is strung together here. In this post I was just trying to get some thoughts I’d been having in my head while driving on to paper so I wouldn’t forget them.

@summer, 1000 days is a long time, but 30 days isn’t. I’m told that is about as long as it takes to build a good habit. And for the most part I’ve found it to be true.

The trick though, for anything this long, is to not break the chain. A one day gap turns into two and three and ten very easily. I think it would be fun to have a room full of colorful paper cranes.

this helped a lot :) I was thinking about the 1000 paper crane wish and if I learned how to make a paper crane then I would make one every day until I got to 1000…. but I don’t think I could keep it up for 2 years and 8 months! hahaha

@ kirsten, much of my interesting writing comes from pictures and artwork I find around the net. I like to give them some credit no matter how little or how much they might influence my words. This one was a bit more obvious than usual.
